PositiveA Wonderful new beginning for mom
The Waterford has been AMAZING! My only regret is not moving my mom sooner. Staff, residents, and volunteers are top-notch! EVERYONE is super friendly and I know that my mom is well cared for everyday.

PositiveMy mom fell in love with the Waterford at Shavano Park. We have reserved her an apartment and are working on getting her there. The staff was so nice and friendly. The facility is welcoming, clean and smells nice (a big thing for me) and inviting. The residents we saw seemed very happy, joyful, comfortable and were nice.

The experience was great and [name removed] was very very good. However, technology [name removed] it's ugly head and the fax machine wasn't working, but the staff was unaware so we kept trying to fax mom's medical records and the two different entities in Alpine Texas said that it was a constant busy signal. This caused a lot of unnecessary stress as Waterford didn't realize that the fax machine wasn't working until the day before the paperwork was due for mom. The ratio of resident in the Memory Care units to caregiver is excellent. All needs are attended to quickly and efficiently with care and respect for the resident. Meal portions are balanced without being overwhelming. The rooms are well appointed and are sized to accommodate personal touches and furnishings.
