Notes from family members.

There were a few things we didn't notice until after my mom had moved in. We didn't notice until after they had a few false fire alarms in the evening, the main center stairs off of the dinning area do not go all the way up to the 3rd floor. This is limited access to the 3rd floor in case of emergencies. If the elevator is not working you have to use the side stairs and they are narrow. (One elevator) that gets so much use. It broke once for a long time and the residents on the 3rd floor had to get food served to…

Very nice. Liked the independent living situation and the amenities offered. Bathrooms ran on the small size for a power wheelchair. Location for me was not the best.

Great place

It was a great experience from beginning to end. Everyone was very welcoming and they helped us through a very difficult situation. I would recommend. Especially for someone who didn't qualify for Assisted Living as in our case. They took care of her very well even though Fairmont is an "Independent Living"

My mom was at The Fairmont by Barclay House. It was a loving, inviting, and caring location for those who need a community environment. They have assisted living services that are affordable. The people were amazing. I think that's what made all the difference in my mom being a part of that community. I would highly recommend it to anybody. I am/was a resident of this facility

I'm at The Fairmont by Barclay House. They clean up weekly. There's a cleaning lady, and the meals are three times a day, and you have a couple of choices for each meal. The bathroom and shower are nice. You have your own refrigerator, and you keep the temperature in your room at whatever you like it set up. The staff is wonderful. They have all kinds of things to keep people active, ice cream socials, bingo, Cinco de Mayo, and arts and crafts.

A great place.

The staff is very caring and friendly. I haven't had a bad experience or interaction yet. The quality of care is amazing and it's always clean. I'm confident that I made the right decision in finding a place for my mom during a difficult time. I really love that they have different activities and outings that allow for fellowship. It's really is "a great place for my mom"! Also, the other residents are nice and friendly as well.
