Staff is friendly. That is a big plus, but…when a resident has an incontinence issue over the weekend, the staff leaves it to dry on the floor. When we come to visit, more times than not, there is dried urine on the floor in the apartment with a very foul odor. Our loved one doesn’t appear to be reminded to brush teeth even though it is apart of the care plan. This should be a given in a memory care setting. Facilities were great. Communication was terrible. They do not return phone calls. The entry person misled us as to what age in place actually means. Mom was there in memory care 5 days, she had a bad fall and wasn't able to transfer herself to the wheelchair after that so we had to move out. They said that was something she would have to be able to do. So what happened to age in place??? They had about 25 residents in memory care and never had more than 2 attendants on the floor at one time. Apartments were just b…

The staff has been very friendly and responsive. Activities - they offer several different kinds. Food - is a bit bland. But can ask for S/P. They offer a nice variety of meals. Cleanliness - they keep the common areas very clean and tidy. Very attractive. Rm size - Independent Living is very nice. The bathroom could be a little better as far as the sink area. Assisted Living rooms are not layed out well. And significantly smaller.

The apartment was a good size and very clean. The staff and management was amazing. The girls were very sweet and always there to help. The food was nutritious looking but a little boring and repetitive. I am more than happy to recommend The Gardens to anyone.
