You can call anytime of the day to ask questions about your family member. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. This facility was the only place that would take on a non-English-speaking person and is making it work. The moving-in process is labor-intensive if your family member is not located on the main floor. And you have to come through the main doors. There is only one elevator being used by everyone. At least the stairs are wide enough for large furniture pieces. There is no courtyard or garden area …

The Goldton At Southaven needed a little bit of updating, but it was still a very nice facility. The staff was very nice, caring, and created a very nice environment. It was very clean. It was kept up; just the finishes were dated.

[name removed] led the tour and he was so nice and helpful! The facility was also incredibly nice and felt like a combination of home and some sort of resort. This is the best place we toured hands down. My father in law was so impressed he was trying to see how old he had to be to move in.

The front desk receptionist, [name removed], is phenomenal! Kind, loving and always paying attention to detail. That is very helpful to a caregiver like me who works full time. I knew I could count on [name removed] to let me know if my loved one needed anything.

Positive and Friendly Environment

My husband spent two weeks at The Goldton for short term respite care. Overall it was a good experience for him. The facility is quite clean and he received good care. The nursing staff was quite conscientious about giving his meds to him appropriately. He stated that the food was very good. Unfortunately he didn't take advantage of any of the programs they offer but he did have numerous options.

Mom is living her best life!

She is always happy when I see her. They keep her active. She's happier there than she was in her own home for the last couple years. I don't worry about her at all! The food is great as well!
