CriticalThe apartments that they let you tour are nothing like the apartments they move into. The meals are horrible, some of the residents become sick after eating those meals. The IDPH needs to step in and see why residents are throwing up after eating those meals. The CNA's are lazy and ghetto, just as well as the nurses there. They sit out smoking cigarettes and talking about the residents and their families. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE YOUR LOVED ONES IN THIS DIM DIRTY STUFFY GOD AWFUL PLACE.
★★★★★
CriticalNo variety of fresh fruits or vegetables. Little variety of meal options no matter if breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very small meals for my father, and no leftovers. However, the staff helps themselves to each meal. Sometimes they take bags of food when they leave.

PositiveWe were so thankful to find this place because we had no idea of where to put my mom with their help. We found the grand Regency and she has been there about two months and couldn't be happier. Thank you for all your help. Our experience has been very good.

She's kind of in between assisted living and independent living. She needs some assistance, but she doesn't need a lot yet. We picked this one because they have those different leve…

CriticalCourtyard Estates of Canton was a nice building full of old heavy dark woodwork and stairs. I didn't see much enthusiasm among the residents when they went to lunch. They just came in and seemed to be sitting with the same people that they always sit with and there was not much conversation. They were all very quiet and subdued. They have speakers and entertainers come in, games, videos that the residents watch, a piano, and a room with tables so residents can eat with their family. There's also a small k…
