The staff is absolutely amazing! They are so patient and so kind. He loves the food that was his favorite part! The room was shared and was plenty of room for all of his belongings and his TV. When you walk in the building you instantly smell the cleanliness. I couldn't have asked for better help with my father in law.

The team at The Harbor were prepared for our visit and warmly welcomed us. We had a detailed conversation and they showed us around the facility. I found [name removed] to be competent, caring and honest. [name removed] said he liked it. I also like the community and think its smaller size would be beneficial. We are proceeding with the application process for the adult day program and respite care. We will consider The Harbor for long term residency when the time comes.

The facility clean and bright. I did not smell urine when I entered. The residents had just finished lunch and I could still smell the aroma of a good meal. The residents were clean. Staff were present to assist them. The place had a homelike appearance and feel to it. I saw the entire facility so I was able to form an idea about what it would be like to live there. The staff we met were pleasant. We received a good introduction. If I could afford it, I wouldn’t hesitate to place my loved or myself here.

The Harbor at Douglasville is a decent facility. It seemed to be clean and maintained pretty well. The rooms are small, particularly if you're thinking of having your loved one in a shared space. If it's them alone in a room, the size is sufficient. The cost is on par or slightly below what many facilities are charging these days. If I had the opportunity, I would do a respite stay for my parent, which would provide a trial run of how they actually care for the elderly. I'm giving a four because this was just a tou…

I've been relatively pleased so far. Only real drawback is distance from home. It's a bit of a drive. Much better care at The Harbor than [removed]. She's clean, they take her to the bathroom, her diaper is rarely wet. They make up her bed daily.

Please do your research before leaving your love one to the care of this faculty.my mom was there the food is not good.the staff is new when we moved out in doing so we could see the room had not been cleaned for a long time.please do your research
