I visited this facility

I toured The Leland of Laurel Run. What I liked best was the atmosphere, cleanliness, and friendliness. The least that I liked was the price. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The facility was very clean and inviting, with a homely atmosphere. The size of the room was nice and accommodating. The dining area was very open.

I found a place for my wife. The place is called the Leland of Laurel Run. It's very affordable. It's rather small. It's a privately-owned place. It's a really nice place. They have large private rooms, small private rooms, and then they have what they call shared private rooms in which they share a bathroom. They have all kinds of activities and stuff. The staff are all very friendly. They have a TV and air conditioning in the room. They have a dresser, a recliner, and a bed. They have a bathro…

Care is the number one priority at this facility. Unfortunately, it is an older building and is smack in the middle of downtown Waynesboro (although for some people, this might be a plus). It lacks compelling common areas (both inside and out) and it does give the appearance inside of an "old folks home". But the value cannot be beat. The price includes EVERYTHING and my impression from the tour and meeting is that the care and engagement of the staff is top notch. It just might not meet the expectations of someone…

My husband moved into the The Leland of Laurel Run and it is excellent. It's an old building built in the 1800s. They have all kinds of things and games going on. They try to get the residents involved. They charge $1,500 less a month than all the other states around.
