I toured the memory care facility of The Lodge Assisted Living and Memory Care in Carson City. They had a lot of good activities, and the staff was very helpful. There was a beauty shop, and they had exercise classes. The bus also takes them out on outings. The facility was clean and well-kept. The person who gave the tour was very helpful, and she seemed to have a nice relationship with the residents.

All areas are 5 stars. But her monthly rate it's very expensive. The staff has been very helpful and courteous to my wife. they do not hesitate to call me if there are needs for my wife. The facility is very nice and and well kept.

My husband has moved into The Lodge Assisted Living and Memory Care. He gets a little confused, but he seems to enjoy it. He's making friends. He has only been there for a week, but so far everything has been very good. The staff has just been phenomenal about taking care of him. He has been doing the activities, and so I'm glad to hear that he is keeping busy. We actually got to eat Thanksgiving dinner there, and it was very nice. It was really nice to have all the other families there and to meet people…

This community was by far the only good community within Carson City. The team members had a genuine care for my moms well being and her overall happiness. The food wasn't amazing, but it certainly wasn't horrible. They did a change over in the kitchen to something called Compass - though not sure it actually helped them at all.
