PositiveIt was clean and pretty. The folks playing chair volleyball seemed to be having a blast playing chair volley with large inflated balloons. Our host was so gracious and welcomed us to the facility. One nice couple allowed us to tour their home with our guide. It was nice to see how comfy and practical they had arranged their furniture.

I would give every category a 5 out of 5 except for the food, which I would rate a 3. Even so, my overall experience has been a 5 out of 5. I’m very happy with my apartment and my experience here. In the two and a half months I’ve been here, I’ve made a number of friends and have really enjoyed being part of the community.

Mansions at Decatur I moved to the Mansions in February 2025 due to some medical issues that I expected to require an extended recovery but healed more quickly than expected and was able to terminate my lease early by providing a two month notice. I weas the second youngest person living there and I would say the average age is 83-86. Generally, the residents at this location are very friendly and welcoming. and I do miss them.
