I visited this facility

I toured The Oaks. It had beautiful grounds and a beautiful building. It's very old, but very well-kept. The rooms are extremely small for independent living. I think the largest was 700 square feet. The bathroom was not ideal, and that's why we didn't pursue that place. I just got a text message yesterday from a person who has just taken over the position of the person I talked to. It's a new person now, but the person I spoke to within the last two and a half years was very pleasant and helpfu…

Review for The Oaks

The memory care unit was amazing. I don't have much to draw from for the rest of the facility. I can tell you some of the residents living there seemed friendly and happy enough. If I were in the market for a facility to age in place and wanted to stay within the city they would be first on my list based on my experience- but that was 2 years ago so I'd have to do my research all over again. Make sure they stayed up to par in the meantime.

I visited this facility

I called here two days ago and talked with April and found her to be informative and helpful. Although your apartments are not section 8 or Humana friendly, and I am not able to proceed. I can tell just by speaking with April that she did not judge me for my mother's current situation of homelessness and she was nothing but compassionate and listened to me and even though she doesn't know this but my day was made a little better now because of her. If I'm ever able to refer anyone that can afford tho…

Mom loves her new place, would highly recommend

We went with The Oaks over others places we saw because of all of the things they have to offer. Plus the step down to assisted living if needed. The staff is great, I just wish they had a doctor on call for the weekends. They have a beautiful facility, wonderful staff my Mom loves her new place I would highly recommend The Oaks.
