I am/was a resident of this facility

My wife and I have both been in assisted living at the Oaks for over a year. I was in rehab here for 6 weeks before going to AL. The rehab took me from a wheelchair to a walker and now at times a cane. They also took me from a mental state where my family thought I would be incompetent, but the therapist here brought me to a state where I am almost completely back to normal. We are happy here and love the staff and management. We can't imagine being anywhere else. We looked at less expensive alternatives but d…

I am/was a resident of this facility

This place is so nice. I've lived here over a year and my husband has been here more than two years now. So we know this place well and we both agree we couldn't have found a more incredible place to live. The staff and the residents seem to be truly good people and get along well in the good and the trying situations that occur. The staff is truly kind and always available for all of our needs. Requests are met immediately. This place is very clean and neat, inside and out, at all times. We would both re…

NO! NO! NO!!! Go Somewhere Else!!!

My mom was sent to Oaks for rehab after surgery. She was only there for 5 days before I moved her to another facility. She would push her call button and wait HOURS for someone to check on her. At one point, she pressed her call button to help her use the bathroom. Help didn’t come for about an hour and by that time, it was too late. The nurse was upset that she had to change her bed sheets and was got rougher than usual while moving her to her wheelchair. She was scared to be there. After I decided to move her to …

You can be nicest person on phone but it's all about money. If your loved one is on an expensive drug their pharmacy stocks then expect them to deny you bed in SNF. No way around to bring own meds unless not stocked. They claim solely an insurance issue , but if going to deny based on expensive drugs, and outside co-pay programs on a newly prescribed are available and patient can get the med.. simply dont stock it in your pharmacy since deny anyone one it!

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

We went to The Oaks at Woodfield. They weren't able to give a full tour due to COVID, but I kind of walked the grounds. It's really clean, and my mom really looked comfortable. She was there for about 10 to 12 days for respite. They had window visits, and they put numbers on the window for you to know where your resident was located. The room was really clean. I saw nothing out of place, the slightest thing on the floor, or anything. I didn't have any unpleasant interaction with the staff. The courty…

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother was at The Oaks at Woodfield. She was a past resident. She was there when she came out of the hospital. It was really good. They provided meals, they provided medicine distribution, and they provided wound care. They provided basically everything she needed. I like that they were very professional. Their accommodation was nice. It was a nice place. I felt comfortable leaving my mother there. For me, the location was handy too. It was just five or six miles down the road. However, my mother wasn't abl…
