I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Brother’s room & bathroom is dirty, never cleaned, dusty furniture filthy carpet in room, low grade old furniture, Bathroom floors filthy, sink & shower is filthy with poor quality linens & towels. I see staff standing around congregating with their cell phones. I never see administration out and about checking on staff, rooms, residents. It’s very sad to see your loved one in such environment. Why can’t these places be cleaned & kept that way. Why does state run facilities not take the initiative t…

Limited care. Highly processed foods. High staff turnover. Dirty carpet, etc. Administrator and supervisors appeared indifferent.

Truly appalling

The Oaks used to be a great place. But now, many years later, it still has the original furniture in patient rooms, what looks like the original paint job and the floor in the laundry room hasn't been stripped clean in what looks like years. The room my loved one is in is carpeted. It is blackened in some areas and in all the times I have been there it has never been recently vacuumed. Given the usual excuse of staff shortage, why does the person at the nursing station sit and shop Amazon or listen to music on he…

A Place for Your Loved One

Everything here has been wonderful here. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff communication with the family and friends has been great. They are responsive to the family's questions or concerns. Card games, field trips, and more are some of the activities offered to the residents to participate in.

I would not put my dog here. It is filthy!! The rug has stains all over and it smells of urine. The food is gross! Veggies from a can. Turkey ??? Sandwich for dinner!! With the exception of 2 staff members, the staff was awful! We took our loved one out !!!

Not so great for us with higher care needs.

They are very understaffed and need a lot of help. Sometimes on the weekend they only have two people working on a shift. My loved one has some higher care needs than the other residents, and they can't handle her at times. She always complains about the food. The staff are very nice people though. And the cost is on par with other places.
