The 1 bedroom is spacious and sunny and full of light floor is wood tone temperature is cool. Fridge is small. Bath is good size and so is bedroom but few hanger. Wi-Fi strange. They have music and entertainment every night to gather for dinner. Anything they boil is delicious goulash delicious with potatoes and beets tonight green salad with cheese. Soup is also excellent. Transportation is excellent. They have buses that take you to Publix and various other location where you can buy stuff a couple of days a week…

My mother is currently with the palace at Kendall. The staff and facilities are wonderful, however, I don't know if it was a great fit for my mom as it is primarily Latin speaking and the type of music that is played, etc., is totally oriented towards that type of music which he is not familiar familiar with. I probably in hindsight should've placed her in the Homestead location. We're happy but not necessarily satisfied and we're still feeling things out.

Overall experience was fine, but they are stretched thin in taking care of patients requiring more supervision. In my Mom's case she went into hospice early in her stay so more hands on supervision was no longer an issue. The facility staff is friendly, caring and approachable. Facilities are clean, no smells in common areas or residents' rooms. Residents are clean, well groomed and have no unpleasant smells. A lot of residents have added on one on one caretakers to supplement care. Room sizes are ample and well l…
