CriticalGreat curb appeal and the common areas are kept clean. Day #1 Mom called crying saying she had been pushing her call button for an hour and a half and no one came to help her out of bed. Have had several problems with doctors' orders being received. Bus transportation has to be arranged at your own expense if their bus has mechanical problems. MedTechs often work double shifts and quite often they are short staffed. I had two ombudsmen that were able to help me get the on-site nurse from continually contacting thei…

PositiveMy father will be moving into The Pines on Carmel. I visited the assisted living, but I also visited the memory care to visit his wife, who is already there. I like the staff. Jim is the community coordinator, and he is wonderful to work with. He is top-notch and knows his business. If you have a question, you can ask anyone. They're always very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They were serving a meal. It smelled delicious, and I could see that there was a very coordinated plan for getting the residents …

CriticalThey need more help, not enough staff, and more RN needs to be in the facility. Shortage of staff. My mom passed away and I just wished they had more staff. The CNA that was there treated my mom good, it's just staff shortages. The head nurse was ok,she did answer questions that I had concerns about, but they need permanent RN station around. Also my mom was in the memory care and they really need to do more with those patients.

PositiveMy sister had such a wonderful Care and all the staff was kind and wonderful I can not thank you enough to the Pine on Carmel and thank you very much to the all staff of memory care.
