PositiveOur family member was very withdrawn and apprehensive about the change of his residence--had lived in the same home for 83 years! While his comfort level took several months to improve, he is a much changed (positively) individual who has shown rather remarkable intellectual, physical and emotional growth. He is the best I have seen him in decades. The negative aspect is that he has re-established his independence and a stubbornness streak has become evident. He now seems to possess the abilities to manage that ind…

PositiveMy mom moved to The Pines Senior Living. They're a newer facility. It has larger rooms for the residents, is very accommodating, very clean, and is top-scale. My mom said the food was good. They have activity rooms. They do exercises. They have games. They had a barbecue on the 4th of July. They're pretty active there. They have religious services, too. The value is worth your money.
★★★★★
PositiveWe like the facility, mom's studio with 3 closets, big shower and the attentive staff. And attentive administration! Based on our experience so far we would recommend this community to other families.
★★★★★
PositiveThe Pines Senior Living had the memory care facility that my mom would need. My father was very impressed with their memory care center. The woman who took us on a tour was very informative and very pleasant. They had a consistent busy schedule for their residents. It wasn't like they just sat around all day. They engaged them, which was something that my father felt was critical for mom. The facility seemed very clean. They had a salon, a game room, a place for exercising, and a movie theater, which also doub…

PositiveThe Pines Senior Living was the newest among all the facilities that I toured and it was, by, far, the nicest. It was not so cozy, but it was definitely a very nice facility and the price was also commensurate with that. It had a very nice room layout, but only 60 of the 72 units were occupied. The staff who gave me the tour was excellent.
★★★★★
PositiveThe Pines Senior Living was very nice. They have a 2:1 ratio of patients to staff. They have 24-hour coverage. They have a nice patio where you can go off and see the birds outside. The patients do not have to wear a bell because all the doors are corded, so if you have to use a cord, you go from one section to another section.
