The staff at Regency went above and beyond to make my moms short stay a vacation instead of a dr ordered nightmare. My mom went in depressed and was completely convinced that she was going to be completely incapable of self care again. She heard too many stories of broken hips being a first class ticket to a permanent nursing home stay. Nothing I said could convince her that this was temporary and just a stepping stone back home. My mother is living at The Regency Skilled Nursing and Therapy. There have been a few little glitches, but for the most part it's been good. It's been better than the last couple that she's been in over the years and she loves the food, and that's a plus. In the beginning we could do visits through the window, then they opened it up where you could schedule a visit and they had a time, and it was in the chapel. However, the county went in the red as far as COVID cases go, so they shut that down …

My mother is currently in the skilled care at Rose Manor. Everyone has been so nice and kind to her. They have taken care of her every need and are nursing her back to health, -mentally, physically, and emotionally. They are doing as their shirts say- "nursing with dignity."

I visited Rose Manor. It is closer to our house. I don't know much about it, but basing on the visit, it seemed very nice for my grandmother. It was clean and modern. The staff was very friendly, courteous and seemed to know what they were doing.
