PositiveMy sister cleans his room most days, which is unfortunate. The facility seems to be understaffed quite often, and there was some type of layoff last month that resulted in the loss of several great staff members. Outside of those concerns, our experience has been great overall.
★★★★★
PositivePlace is clean, bright, inviting. Staff walking around seemed engaged with clients. Apartment size is good, especially in memory care. Had change in management recently so communication has not been as good as in the beginning...mostly due to changes/openings in staff. Overall, very pleased.

PositiveMy brother moved to The Reserve at First Colony's assisted living facility. Overall, after three months, it seems to be much better. ★★★★★

All four concluded that The Reserve at First Colony was the best fit for their mothers. Giving up her home in Arizona, her friends and her church was gut-wrenching for Mom. It took several months of adjustment. Now, Mom is thankful for the thoughtful leadership, attentive care givers, planned activities and camaraderie of the communit…
