CriticalThe medication aides and dining staff friendly and caring to my dad. It took several days for the staff to be on the same page with medication changes. Breakdown in communication is either the pharmacy they use or the program the medication aides refer to. [name removed] and [name removed] difficult to get a hold of, always in meetings. The physicians office even had trouble getting a hold of them. Cannot use a 4wheel walker to get in walk-in closet. Our dad got out of the facility after 11pm a couple times, never…

CriticalIt was under construction during our time there. Hopefully they updated the "dining" area so it doesn't look like a low-income school cafeteria. there needs to be a more secure setting & front door not be open until 11 pm. They do not have a chef. Or equipment to serve anything eye appealing or taste decent except toast. But more than often their out of bread Did not partake in the activities. Don't have high expectations. You get what you pay for. Great sales job from [name removed], we got took. Took going to the…

PositiveThe staff works hard with what they have. They are friendly with positive attitudes. The food was mediocre at best. Same thing, different day. When I left I know there were attempts to change/improve the food sitch. I loved my apartment and greatly appreciated housekeeping services. The facility as a whole was consistently clean and tidy. The key for me was the admin and staff. If they don't care, then there is a huge problem. Gramercy admin & staff CARE and strive every day to make the transition comfortable an…

PositiveMy mother was a resident at Gramercy, when she passed away they charged her the full amount of rent for the next month. I am due a refund, an have been dealing with this problem for 8 weeks. Have left numerous Voice messages and have not had them return my call. My mother's rent was always paid on time each month. Other than this refund problem my mother was treated very well while living there.

PositiveAll the staff was friendly and helpful. My apartment was just the right size. I have a studio b. I'm sleeping in my recliner so that was al I needed. They just hired an activity person. The receptionist had been filling in and was doing a great job. The cleanliness of the whole building was very good. The dining area was kept clean. That is a hard area to keep clean.

CriticalPhone calls are never answered. Always goes straight to voicemail. Administration never calls back no matter how many emails and messages you leave. We've been trying to resolve billing issues for months. If we cannot get these issues resolved, our next step is to seek legal assistance. Never had this much frustration with prior owners.
