My loved one is independent. He does not require skilled care although that service is available should he need it. He prepares his own meals but should he want meal service it is available. He does his own laundry and housekeeping. However, if he needs it it's available. The staff is responsive and easy to work with

The staff is caring, responsive and friendly. The upkeep, including cleanliness is excellent. The food, I am told by my friend who is in the assisted living section, is very good. The Vernon Center is a gem nestled just off Jefferson Avenue on Detroit's east side, and I am so grateful to have found it for my 93 year old friend.
