Disgusting. Our loved one has had two baths in nearly three weeks, even after we asked, and his bed linens haven’t been changed in at least 9 days. The place reeked of urine the first day he was brought in although the smell has abated somewhat since. He is seldom dressed when we arrive for visits and is supposed to be getting therapy. Our family has experience with rehab/nursing homes in the area and this one is by far the worst.

The rooms, the facility, the faculty are all in disrepair. The nurses, most don't know what they are doing, and management does not care, sounds like a cliche. Residents are treated terribly with the exception of a few, and that's because they can speak up for themselves and even then some get so much disrespect it's unbelievable, probably like they'd hope this review to be seen as, unbelievable. The room is very under par, they were never cleaned unless I demanded it done. The walks were bare nothing but a small tv with very small selection of channels. .. My bed did not work and was a rental. Was not replaced until the day before my discharge. The nursing staff was very under trained on wound care. I had to instruct most of them how to care for my wound. The supplies i need for my wound care was always in short supply. I had bugs in my bed and I have video of them. My cousin moved into Villa at Park Ridge. One reason I chose it was because of its proximity to me. The staff members are nice, friendly, and helpful. I have positive contact with the staff. They seem to care about the people. My cousin is a vegetarian. They gave her meat, so I spoke to them, and they took care of her complaints. I like the fact that they have activities every day. They have their own staff occupational therapist. They have a nice room for occupational therapy. They serve three meals a day: breakfa…

Clean and helpful staff. Dietary goes above and beyond to encourage a picky eater. Activities also handle weekly calls since I live farther away and I couldn’t say enough about how helpful and empathetic Aaron is.
