Connie did NOT order pain meds for my mom after she had breast removed. Also had troubles several times getting rides to appointments. The actual care workers did a nice job caring for the residents but the owners and administrators were not caring. It’s all about the money for them.

We chose The Village of Cameron Senior Living for my husband because of the location of my home and the cost. He has a nice-sized room with a full closet and bathroom, but no shower. He does have to go to a different room for a shower. The staff is very caring. They come in every day to empty his trash. They change the bed linens every week, so it is fine. The day he moved in, I ate with him, and the food was delicious. It was very good. He says it's good most of the time, but sometimes, he has something that&…

My mother was in The Village of Cameron Senior Living until two months ago. It was very nice. She was in an independent living facility. She had a small two-room apartment. She had a bedroom and then a living area with her own bathroom. It was well kept in good condition and it had dining and laundry facilities there. They had a lot of activities, church services, bingo, sing-along, and holiday events. She was very, very happy that she lived there for three years. The staff was very professional, very caring, they …

A friend of mine is living there and she is not able to talk. The staff does not give her proper care and constantly in pain. CMA are passing Narcotics which is outside their certification. She not being changed efficiently and within a timely matter. The DON Connie needs fired, she doesn't do her job and wants to be a friend instead of a boss.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I moved into independent living at The Village of Cameron. The place is decent and well-kept. I would recommend it. The staff is like family right from the start. They're good people. It's enjoyable and sociable, and everybody gets along. They have different areas to sit and do puzzles. They make you very comfortable. They have several activities on a calendar throughout the month, so it's up to you as an individual to get involved. The price is also worth it.

The Village of Cameron is great, and everybody that I have encountered here is very friendly and ready to help. The staff is caring, courteous, kind, and makes you feel at home. They have hot meals and occasionally there are cold sandwiches; they try to be creative and they try not to have the same meals over and over again.
