My dad stayed at Thrive Lake County for one week, and our experience was genuinely positive. The rooms were clean and big, the nurses were consistently attentive and kind, making sure he felt comfortable and supported throughout his stay. The CNAs were compassionate and patient, treating him with respect and care in every interaction. The rooms are decent size. The food is horrible. Comes cold and you don't have choice except for a small assortment for lunch and dinner. But you need to ask 3 hours before. Their is no staff. When a nurse goes on break there is none on the floor. We were there for 10days for a hip replacement therapy. She went 2 times for pt. And 1 for ot. The first time they were having her work her arms instead of her hips and legs.

Thrive of Lake County helps in strengthening my legs and my balance. They're very good with their OT and PT. It's very clean. My only biggest complaint is their food. They need to work on that. The staff has been very good. My living room is just the right size. There is a bed, and I have room on each side. The shower area is really big. Most of the food is very good. It should be warmer when you get it, though. It's a fair value.

The staff is very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. Sonja was extremely helpful on a day to day basis. Frannie, social worker, is another five star employee who goes out of their way to help things go right during very difficult situations. This place is caring and knowledgeable and goes the extra mile. To know that there are still people in this world that want to do the right thing has given me long over due peace of mind and returned my sense safety.

The rooms are nice. My brother was in a 2 bedroom with a bathroom and another gentleman. The meals are good and the staff is extra nice and friendly. They have activities every day and the residents seem to enjoy what exercise they get. My brother had severe memory loss. We were advised to have hospice take over at just the right time. They took care of arranging for hospice and it worked out very well. We are Catholic and volunteers from a church in Libertyville came with communion and said the rosary regularly. O…

My mother moved from assisted living to Thrive. The facility is welcoming as it is clean and very bright with all of the windows. I have found all staff members to be skilled and friendly. Mom will be at Thrive for the remainder of her life. Initially, she was in short-term until a bed was available. She then we briefly in memory care, and now is in regular long-term care.
