They have made such a difference in my mother's quality of life. They are always cleaning. The floors, rooms, etc...are immaculate. They insist that my mother get up and be apart of things. They will not allow her to isolate herself, which was a big issue when living with me. Yes, we would recommend this community to others

I am very pleased with the staff at Toney Rest Home. This is an Adult Rest Home in Oxford just 45 minutes outside of Raleigh, where your loved ones are provided safety, personal care, care coordination, activities and supervision. My mom has been a resident for a little over a month. Prior to admission, I was her primary caregiver for 2 years and faced the reality that I was burnt out and needed more help at home as her dementia progressed. Last [date removed], I along with my mother and auntie (who both suffer from Alzheimer’s Disease) visited family members in NC. We determined that caring for them required more than one family member’s single care and decided to place them in an assisted living home. We found Toney Rest Home in Oxford, NC. This facility is clean and well-kept with the most caring staff we have ever met. My family are grateful for the patience and love they provide our loved ones. We never announce our visits and each and every time…

The staff was excellent and cared about each resident. For the first time in many years, my mother left her room and engaged with others. She was moved due to my brother thinking the place was too old and worn...though clean. She is now in a brand new assisted living facility in Henderson, and misses [facility removed]. She is not engaged and only leaves the room for a couple of meals each day. Communication was good when she was at [facility removed].
