Dad wad there for 1 month

4.5 stars. The staff was awesome. My dad was there for a a month before he passed. It was a very rough road at the end. But the staff and the community were really helpful and compassionate. They understood the dementia was doing its thing.

Homey and feels good

The staff at this facility genuinely seem to care. It is a small enough place that if we ask them to do something for our mom, they seem to get it done. Our mom was losing weight at the last facility, but now she is maintaining her weight which is a plus. We chose this facility because they had an opening, they were willing to allow her cat, and it is a secure facility which our mom needed for safety and necessity. It just feels homey and we really feel good about the place.

Our mother, who has Alzheimers is there and we find the staff at Traditions to be understanding and caring. Our mom is liking the meals and the many activities that they provide; such as coloring, doing her nails, exercising, playing games, etc.. Very satisfied with the care that my family member receives. It is a small facility, so there is less confusion for those with memory issues and makes it easier for staff to know the people in their care. They are constantly trying to find ways of improving and are happy to have reasonable input.
