I was taken back by the facility itself, but the staff more than made up for my first impression. I am familiar with the difficulty nursing homes have with recruiting employees. This is an across the board problem. From my first contact with Autumn Grove, I have been consistently impressed with the competency and genuine compassion of every staff member we have encountered since my husband was transferred here. This facility is very dirty! You can tell that it's simply unkept, and it's extremely unsanitary! It smells something awful! Urine and bm is the air you breathe there! We brought our loved one in today We did not get back even 1/2 of the clothes we brought in. No return calls from anyone to replace.

My family member has had 2 pieces of jewelry stolen from this facility. The facility employs agency staff that administration doesn’t trust so they obviously just need a warm body to meet quotas for patient care to staffing ratios. Food is not fit for consumption and it’s sad that they are content to be below average instead of striving for excellence in patient care.

This place is awful. It’s dirty , staff are unfriendly and nurses have too many patients. One nurse was incredibly nasty, ignored me when I asked a question and told me she had too many patients. I saw one staff get rough with a patient who tried to take her food cart. She was clearly agitated with the patient and showed her frustration by being rough with him by pulling his hands off the cart and being nasty to him until she saw me look at her. my friend of 46 years has been in there for over a year now and have been well taken care of bob is 94 and no complains.about the place.when the weather gets better were going to pick him up so he can get back on the golf course again and do 9 holes.but all and all he likes the staff and the place.
