Activities ...basic...they hold them weekly. Will celebrate holidays or special events. Usually involves snacks ànd or music. They could do more to encourage resident participation Food... the food is great but they need more servers. It takes awhile for people to be served and food can be cold. Staff..front office, maintenance reception desk are great. Pt and ot are very good. Nurses are good but overworked and pulled in many directions. My husband and I found Truewood to be a very appealing senior living area.. The facility appears well maintained , clean, and has several rooms for residents activities. There are 4 suite styles which are well designed for one person.. The dining room , on the lower level, is very nice and spacious. The menu is changed daily and has several choices for each meal. My dad’s time at the assisted living community was difficult because of his health condition. The staff were generally kind, open, and caring, and they made efforts to support him and keep him comfortable during a challenging period. I visited the assisted living facility of Truewood by Merrill, Glen Riddle. I was going to put my mom in there, as it's the most affordable place I have found. However, it's a little bit too out of the way, so it wasn't really realistic. It was nice, though. It's small, and the grounds are very nice. It's very beautiful, and there are lots of flowers.
