The rooms are very nice, most with nice upgraded baths mini kitchens. My mom went in at 86 following a mini stroke in AL, and is now 91, and doing great. The care she gets is fantastic, that's the most important thing!!

I toured United Methodist Communities at The Shores. It's large, there are more care levels from hospice down to independent senior living. There's a variety of opportunities for working out, for socialization, and for engagement with the community. It's very well-kept, nicely decorated, and very accommodating. The staff was very gracious, pleasant, clean, and professional and all identified with their badges.

I liked United Methodist Communities at The Shores. It was very nice and very clean. The people were very friendly and everybody seemed happy and friendly. Even the nurses and staff were chit-chatty and spoke to us when we were walking through. The rooms were clean and my husband could have a single room there in the memory care. It also had a little square where they can't get out, which is nice and safe. They had activity rooms and it just seemed nice and peaceful. They have things to do outside the building…

We loved everything about United Methodist Communities at The Shores. It is very modern and the level of care that they give all of the residents there seems to be exceptional. They have a secured memory wing as well. You know, it's just really put together well. It is very well staffed, and the staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. We toured the assisted living, but we did walk past the memory care unit. They have a sliding scale for their memory patients. Some of them don't need memory care service…

The care in this facility surpassed my and my wife's expectations. Administration is responsive to concerns and requests. Most of the staff are warm and caring, including aides, nurses, dining room servers. There is extremely little turnover in staff, which indicates the respect admin has for them and that it is a good place to work. United Methodist Communities at The Shores is a beautiful community. The apartments were cozy and there were lots of rooms in them; they were really nice. The dining area was bright and cheery. They had a theater room almost, they played golf, and all kinds of stuff. The staff was very nice and friendly. Their facilities were also very nice.
