CriticalVenetian Gardens is a nice facility. It doesn't smell. The rooms are semi-private. They have a wall between the two rooms, so they just share a bathroom. It is a little bit more private than some of the other places we looked at. This one is a little bit farther to go, but compared to what else we have looked at, it's very nice. If we wanted to come for my dad's birthday, they have a private dining room that we could reserve and bring food in and do that kind of thing. That was nice. They have a cafe…

CriticalMy mother was there for care after a surgery. She was there for only a few hours. Was put in a wheelchair in her room and left with no other contact with any of the staff for over an hour. NO ONE CAME TO CHECK ON HER. She had been in the hospital for 5 days laying in a bed and she comes to this facility and is put in a wheelchair for over an hour at 78 years old! She decided to leave. More attention is needed for seniors and their situations. This happened TODAY!

CriticalI would not want my worse enemy to have to stay at this facility, due to the lack of compassion the management staff have for the residents. My grandfather was at the facility for nearly 3 month, and some of the staff were great to him. We had to ask on a daily and weekly basis for housekeeping to come and clean his room and walking down the 200 wing constantly smelled like urine. On 4/7/23 our family was informed that we needed to have hospice become involved. My grandmother was given two options that the facility…

PositiveMy father was at Venetian Gardens. He liked the nurses there. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly. It was set up like an Italian hotel, and it looked nice. The upkeep was good, too. They had a podiatrist, physical therapy, a beauty salon, and a very large dining hall. They should improve their food because it wasn't quite as good as it should have been. I think it would be better if the food was prepared on site.
★★★★★
CriticalThe rooms are ok. The staff is not around much. My mother has dementia and I haven't seen any activities with the residents. When I was there the dining room was dirty food on he tables and floors. There were gnats flying around. They brought lunch in and sat it on the dirty tables.

CriticalThis facility is atrocious. We had a resident that lived there from 2018-2021, the care is pitiful. Residents wear others clothes, we would come and visit, and every time my loved one would have other peoples clothes on. They would not shave or give him a weekly bath or make sure he was changed. Room was also not clean. My loved one had money taken from their room as well.
