My loved one was a resident at Victoria Place. Victoria Place is a good place. I will probably move there myself when the time comes.

I was told before they are not a memory care facility but had many patients with dementia and that staff is experienced with dementia care, but I believe I made a mistake and should have chosen a memory care facility.

Our Experience

Recently our extended family utilized Port Townsend's Victoria Place on short notice from an Everett hospital for a respite stay for our loved one. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating when we arrived after normal hours. My Mother-in-Law was ushered into an extremely clean, comfortable and spacious suite that would ultimately accommodate comfortably a caregiving family of 5. I visited this facility

Victoria Place seemed clean and well-kept. The woman who gave us the tour was very friendly. The place seemed cheerful. We liked the staff during the tour. There was a woman at reception who wasn't very engaging, although I did see when somebody from one of the residents came up, she did engage with that person, but she didn't seem inviting to us. Mom liked Victoria Place, but she has lived in Klamath Falls for 70 years. It would have been nice for me to have her close, but she has many friends there. We were treated very nicely when we toured.

Friendly and caring staff

Our loved one was only there for 5 days and he had passed away. However the staff was so kind and very helpful. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we had with Victoria Place.
