ZERO STARS IF I COULD! THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!! I had my mother in there for 3 days before I removed her due to them not taking care of her. They have two aids to help 30 people that shouldn't be allowed or legal. She had to use the restroom and they just left her to soil herself and then wouldn't help her. They leave everyone in wheel chairs all day with out helping them. The nurses and aids have no CLUE what they are doing other than playing on cell phones and hiding behind doors talking to whoe…

The facility is nice and is decorated beautifully for holidays. However, that does not cover for the poor service from nurses and assistants. There are residents in wheelchairs that need help transferring. No matter how many times we call for assistance, often, they ignore these elderly that have to depend on them. Sadly you see them chatting in the nurses stations or seating in the living room areas outside the rooms while on their phones. Some empathy would be appreciated by many who are alone in that place.

Have medical equipment there for new patients needs. Answer the call button. Big thing! Answer call button. Had to leave work day one to handle issues and apologies don't fix the problems of not coming when a patient needs help. Equipment a patient needs to breathe was promised prior to admission, did not happen. Still waiting for it to arrive. Due to Covid 19, Villa Springs cannot allow physical contact with family, this is evident with some of the staff. It could sometimes take over 30 minutes and on one occasion almost an hour for someone to respond to my call light. Most of the staff was kind and caring. There were some notable exceptions. The food was awful. It was nearly always cold and wet items were placed on the same small Styrofoam plate allowing juices from one item to coat everything on the plate.
