Vista Pointe has been the best place for my husband. He absolutely loves living there. The staff know him personally and treat him with such kindness and care. The facility is sparkling clean and kept up. The staff are all so professional and friendly. They treat family members as if we are part of their family. [name removed] was very precise, professional and friendly. She answered all our questions. The facility looked good and accommodating.

The lobby and dining area were very clean. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Beautiful grounds. Rooms were nice with updated flooring.

The facility was clean but appeared dated with 90s style draperies in the dining area. The rooms were bright and tidy. Everyone greeted me and was friendly. The one bedroom unit was very tiny. The guide said the flooring had just been replaced and that finishing touches weren't done, yet. Also, that new appliances would be replacing the very outdated refrigerator and microwave.

I would recommend the community to others

The predominant feature was the choice of a 2-bdrm unit which no other SV facilities offered! The staff here, in all capacities (support staff, medical, maintenance & sales) are genuinely engaging and reassuring whether performing a task or in passing on the property. Yes, I would recommend the community to others.

has areas of improvement

The front line staff work hard and love what they do. The new owners are a lot more corporate than prestige assisted living was. You can definitely tell the difference in focus now, it's all about the $ vs the residents. Communication and follow through regarding medical and non medical issues/concerns is poor.
