They lack overall good leadership. The QMA'S, CNA'S are all really good. Housekeeping could be better. Food seems to just be average.

Vita of Marion is relatively new, so everything is very modern, bright, and clean. I was there at lunchtime, but I did not check the food. I did ask one of the residents when she came out about the food, and she said it wasn't wonderful, but it was OK. The community room was very nice and relaxing-looking. In memory care, they have more scheduled activities, and they have activities available for visitors to interact with the residents.

PositiveBright and calming facility
Their memory care is large open concept area. Very clean, spacious studio bedrooms with private bath. Friendly staff, lots of activities and work/tinker areas in the memory care. They do the laundry and provide meals and snacks through the day! I loved their secure patio area! Lots of space to wonder but still be safe so you don't feel overwhelmed or that someone is right on top of you! Which is nice when your loved one wants to wonder! I also love they are an all-inclusive memory care facility.

PositiveMy mother just moved in and so far everything has went so smoothly. Everyone there, staff and residents, are so nice and have made her feel so welcome. The building itself is so gorgeous and they have many different areas to socialize including common area, pool/card room, restaurant/ice cream bar, back room with fireplace, activity room for theatre movies and cooking area, outside setting , and rocking chair area. The services they offer will make life for my 99 yr old mom easier and safer while enjoying companion…
