Aesthetically pleasing, but service lacking

Overall experience: Definitely did everything to get you in--but really dropped the ball after my aunt's death--not very helpful in guiding us. Crickets after she died. I feel we got cheated on our refund. No explanation--just a check in the mail. I didn’t even know what it was for. Staff/care: The staff care was a little better than average. Change is a Challenge

My overall experience upon moving to Vitalia is rated at 4 stars. I don't think 5's are logical as any moving situation has its pros and cons. Although several conversations took place prior to selection and much paperwork and documents were presented there was a period during which I felt overwhelmed. Adjusting to new surroundings while still trying to make it a home took priority. Learning the rules ie who to contact with questions could have been easily solved if a long time resident ( or committee) had been av…

Very nice people and the facility was beautiful. We were very impressed. The rooms were very large and the whole building was in excellent condition. Staff were very informed and gave us all the information we needed. Thank you so much.
