Vitality Living St. Matthews

The facility looks amazing and the rooms are very nice. The sample menu calendar looks like they serve wonderful meals. The sample activity calendar is chock full of all kinds of things to do. There is a lovely patio area outside with tables and chairs and a water fountain. There is a physical therapy workout room available. There are quite a few long employed staff members who work there.

Vitality, St Matthews, as an awesome and varied activity program. If someone wants to have exercise, art, singing, or entertaining group activities, such as crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, bingo, or other family oriented activities, they are abundant. There are weekly shopping trips available for those who are in need of purchasing goods nearby. Highly qualified ortho and physical. Therapist are available in-house as well as qualified nursing.

Great Staff! Food?

The staff makes the place. Kind, attentive, and always willing to help. The food, however, makes it difficult to enjoy life here. Meal combinations that make no sense and inconsistent preparation makes most meals a real guessing game.

I visited this facility

I visited the assisted living facility of Vitality Living St. Matthews for a friend, and I particularly like the staff. They were warm, sincere, and friendly. I also like the many activities available there. I like that they have an available system where there's different food each day, but if you don't like what's available you can get things like hamburgers, so I like that there's choice in that. I didn't notice anything unclean, so I guess that's a positive thing too.

The staff is top notch. Very responsive and kind. Activities Director and her calendar is perfect. Something for all. The food is not great. Odd food pairings, nothing is consistent. The place needs new carpeting and new washer and dryers.
