CriticalUnreliable and unimpressive
For $[removed]k/month, breakfast consists of cereal, juice and intermittent hot food service. Lunch is not served. Dinner is often not as described, portions get smaller, and if you request delivery to your room, it may or may not arrive. Budget cuts are continuous, solicited suggestions from residents are ignored and management claims to have no ability to affect change. My mother lived at Waltonwood Cary Parkway's independent living for 3 years. The people there were very nice and friendly. They just redid the community last year so everything was redone, fresh, and nice. The staff was friendly. The dining room staff was good and helpful, too. If my mother couldn't get up there in time, they always fix up something and bring it to her. She liked the food and said it was very good. I had an in-person tour of Waltonwood Cary Parkway. The facility is nice and new. They have a pool. It looks like an elegant hotel. The staff was personable, and friendly, and answered my questions.
