PositiveSuch a nice place to be!
My parents moved into an independent living apartment at Water's Edge about four months ago. While that is a very big adjustment for them of course, it has been such a blessing to be there. It's happy and friendly and feels so comfortable. The other residents are very welcoming and intentional about including them in what's going on. It's beautiful and clean and it feels nice to be there. The staff TRULY is there to help them. I know if anything happens or is needed, they will be there. My parents ended up moving …

This is in regard to secure Memory Care floor upstairs: - nice size apartment -Max of 18 residents -excellent food/meals - same food residents in assisted and independent - activities they can choose to participate in (even off floor and in other areas on campus) - apartment has a small kitchen like area which helps to make it feel like an apartment, and two rooms, not just a bed. - most staff are caring but nights and weekends can sometimes seem like one more worker would be helpful. The staff & residents all seem happy & friendly. 1 bdrm apt is not that big but it's all he needs. I have never eaten there but my Dad says the food is good, he likes wine Thursday, but he did say the food was better where he was before.

Staff at Water's Edge is great. Very attentive and caring. Apartment is perfect for those who don't need a large area to navigate but need room for their personal equipment and make the room into a home. Not a hospital type setting. Plenty of activities for all to participate in with several different levels of skills needed. Mom loves the place.
