PositiveVery nice facility.
This is a lovely home for the elderly. Very sweet and helpful staff. 2 of our lives ones are here. [name removed] and [name removed]. The staff are so kind. Clean and neat facility. I enjoy my visit each time! Everything is in order and everyone is extremely helpful.

CriticalI had planned to move my spouse in and on the day I started the shared bathroom was smeared in poop - floors, toilet seat, toilet - I could not move my spouse in to share a space with this being the case. I was told housekeeping was aware the resident was regularly missing the toilet. If they knew they should have addressed it. Carpets were filthy throughout. Staff were loud and bickering not paying attention to memory care residents.

Had a difficult time getting parents seen by NP. Took 29 days to get efills of medication. Begged everyday. Was told we’ll put them on the list. Why not on list before arrival?We weren’t told to come w/30 days of meds. Nurse Mgr doesn’t check voicemail. Assistant Nurse Mgr doesn’t even have voicemail set up! I gave up & took parents to dr outside of facility. Facility recently acquired by Sonida. They are cheap & cut corners. Food is awful!!They have an “always available menu” —never in stock. Our mom has stayed here several times this year, usually for a week or two, and we have been very pleased with her care. The staff and administration are friendly, caring, and attentive. The food and amenities are excellent, and the facility is always clean and well maintained. Nurses and aides assist with medications, meals, and daily needs, and those needing extra help are assisted to and from meals and activities. What really stands out is the welcoming atmosphere. Waterstone is great. I wouldn't mind living there. It's like a 5 Star country club. The new management company has made some changes but nothing great big. The individual caregivers all know my dad and really look after him. Can't say enough good things about Waterstone.
