PositiveMy father was a resident of Weiser Cascadia for several years and my mother for a short time. During their time there, they were both treated with respect and dignity. I was a frequent visitor during their time there, and I observed the great care they received. The staff were always willing to answer questions I had and to work with me on finding solutions to any issues that arose.

CriticalThe staff is inconsiderate. They leave the front door open even when their clients complain about being cold. They tell them to put a coat on. This is not a place you want to send someone. The staff is very uneducated. Their responsibilities are the same as a certified nurse but they lack the necessary knowledge to be one. PositiveMy mother who is now 97 years young has been in the Kindred Nursing facility since 2008. In that length of time after many visits there I have had nothing but good comments to make about the staff, care, meals and recreation that are daily routine and not just occasionally.
