We visited the assisted living facility of West Shores. Everyone there is very nice, including the reception desk people, who are smiling. They are very pleasant, and the lady we spoke with, who is probably the director, had all the materials ready and explained what each thing was that they offered. We told her what my friend needed and what he would like to have, and she gave us the materials that she had together. She said if he was able to move in pretty quickly, there would be some good benefits, too. We got t…

The apartment is a nice size. Housekeeping is awesome. I'm not used to someone knocking and unlocking my door and walking in. I put a small sign on my door "Please knock and give me a chance to answer door. The cleanliness is excellent. The food is mediocre. Being older, some can't tolerate spices. I don't bother going down for the lemon chicken legs. Just awful. Overall I am happy with West Shores.

I moved my mom to West Shores because of the care needs. She has been enjoying her time and to have the front desk and staff so caring is great. You can tell that everyone is loved and well taken care of.

PositiveI recently came to West Shores to move my mom in as she was being discharged and needed more care. The Executive Director and Assistant Executive Director were both very nice and helpful with the transition. Unfortunately, mom had to go back to rehab to get her strength, and we are looking forward to having mom a permanent resident at the community. The staff were nothing but nice, sweet and helpful.
