CriticalMy Mom’s experience was dreadful. Someone threw pebbles all over her floor (after guest hours?) and during the night she fell while trying to get to the bathroom. She was found in the morning and I was called at 7. I arrived about 8:30 and she was in a wheelchair. Her foot was not elevated. Her foot was not iced. Her ankle was swollen and a bone was sticking out. She never got pain meds. Worst experience ever to see a loved one go through.

CriticalThe facility is older, so was not surprised that it is dated, but there are no pictures on walls, and nothing cheerful in the residents' rooms. My mother-in-law waits an average of 60 minutes or longer to have her call button answered. What is completely unacceptable is the fact that on 2 separate occasions they have forgotten to bring her meals! The 1st occurrence they forgot to bring her breakfast & then they forgot to bring her dinner last night! I had always heard how good they were, but I can guarante…

CriticalI brought my 100 year old father here for respite care after he went on Hospice. After 4 hours there I knew it was a mistake. Dinner was not brought to him and after waiting 20 minutes for someone to answer the call bell I went in search of help. I ran in to the activity staff person who said all staff were helping patients eat so no one could respond to the bell. They were told my father was at great risk of falling. What if he had fallen? Anyway this lady got his dinner and brought it to his room. She also brough…

CriticalMy mom stayed in the rehab. Mom said the care was horrendous. The staff was miserable, rushing around with no help. No one to answer her call light. One nurse actually cried while apologizing. She said the management wouldn't staff because they would get part of the profits if they reduced staffing. Who knew a not for profit pocketed profits? She said that they got rid of the only secretary, the stock person and CNA's and expected the nurses to do everything with no help. An aide said they were always run…

CriticalMy father went there for rehab . He came home with pressure ulcers on his heels . My father said he was so cold and he didn’t get a blanket . I have pictures of bruises from a handprint on wrist . My father said that he was treated roughly and uncaring . They might have stood him up on a leg fracture or meniscus tear and have been making him do therapy with an injury . The physical therapy man was rude . And the case worker was new and didn’t know what she was doing . I sent pictures to the director and haven’t hea…

PositiveWe were very pleased with Westminster Rehab. My husband liked the food; it was pretty good. He liked all the aides and CNA's, his nurses, and all of the staff. They were very good.
