PositiveI liked Westminster Village a lot, but it was so big and so far to walk to everything. The staff was very nice, and everybody that we met said hello. It was nice. It was just too expensive and too far apart from everything. It was very spread out.

PositiveMy mom moved into Westminster Village. We like the staff. My mom likes the food. Her apartment is very comfortable. The staff members are friendly, helpful, and respond quickly. We're happy with their services. My mom has physical and occupational therapy. It all seemed very professional and good. Compared to the other ones we looked at, their price is very reasonable. We use the garden and courtyard patio area a lot when we go there. It's very pleasant.

PositiveWe've been having lunch every week with a group of friends in Westminster Village until COVID hit. It's a very lovely place. The rooms are beautiful, constantly redecorating whenever it's necessary. They are adding to the assisted living area now. It's under construction for additions. It's a beautiful remodel. They just redid the cafeteria, the dining area, and the library. As people move in, they move into a completely redone room. The rooms range from a studio to a large two-bedroom apar…

PositiveWe visited Westminster Village Bloomington. It's been there for quite a while, but they're remodeling and adding stuff. It's a convenient community although my mom wasn't really impressed with the whole thing. She did like what the rooms had to offer, so she was probably satisfied. Caroline, the one who helped us during the tour, was very friendly and informative. She listened, tried to explain everything to mom, and was very well-informed. Their dining room is very big and had plenty of room. A…

Criticalvery poor care- staff is not professional - management is lacking - food is not good , public area is messy -you pay for service but when are there you find out they do perform them - the care is all about the staff schedule not what works for the residents - I wonder if they have any geriatric training - was sad to find that some of the staff come form the state funded nursing homes ( we all know what state run facilities are like and if that is their background it is concerning ) was always scared to say anything…

PositiveWe looked at a two-bedroom -- which is really what my friend would like -- and it had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a walk-in closet, a kitchen, a stove, and a regular sized refrigerator. The living room was nice and big. They have like craft classes and various exercise classes. The thing that I really liked about Westminster was that if you were in the nursing home, you still can have dinner with a friend in the cafeteria, and you can go to all of the activities in the assisted living.
