PositiveI am a resident of The Williamsport Home's independent living. I chose it because of the price, it was the lowest I found anywhere. The residents and the staff are friendly. They even clean off your windshield when it snows. They have a wellness doctor who spends time with each person's exercise program. He conducts exercise classes four …

PositiveThe Williamsport Home had two different areas. One was almost like an efficiency apartment, but they kept the stove turned off and had a refrigerator and a microwave. Another section was just rooms and the nursing staff was closer by. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable.

Authoritative classification evidence · observed September 2, 2026Current Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Human Services Provider Directory Personal Care Home result, restricted to LICENSED facilities with a Full or Provisional credential and 4 through 16 licensed beds. When the directory supplies credential dates, expired credentials are excluded; the current directory schema may publish the active LICENSED status without dates. Pennsylvania identifies Personal Care Homes as providing shelter, meals, supervision, and personal care; its official category and small capacity form a conservative Board & Care proxy, but Pennsylvania does not certify that marketing label. The official license establishes no current availability, price, fee, owner, or operator.
