I visited this facility

I toured Willie Care Home for my father, and it was very positive. The owner was really friendly, and they provided the information that we needed, so it was good. The place was very nice, it was clean and organized, and the clients were getting excellent care. We liked what we saw, and the room we looked at was very nice. The surrounding was very nice; it is in Sunnyvale, so it's a beautiful residential area.

We are so thankful for the Willie Care Home II for taking such great care of our mother. It was a God send there was an opening after our experience with another facility. We had initially had mother-in-law with Alzheimer's at a memory care unit at a country club like facility after she could no longer stay home. Less than 2 hours of leaving her there, she fell on her face, breaking her nose and had to go to the ER. Senior Care specialist recommended the Willie Care Home II for more personalized care. Penny runs a nice place. She was very diligent in finding foods that my mom would eat as mom had shut down a lot by the time I got her there. She was very attentive and helped me also quite a bit. Her place there was easy to get to and convenient for me, being in Palo Alto.

A very strong start

My initial reaction has been strongly positive seeing a very energetic administator and a caring staff. I am holding judgment regarding my brother's placement since staffing is all female and I have not had all therapists yet come in for the in house services which have been ordered to take place over a 9 week period.
