PositiveI'm in Willow Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center right now. I'm trying to get my strength up so I can get the chemo. I live right up in Brick, so it is like two minutes from my house. It's very nice. The therapy is very good, too. They always cut the grass. I always see that, but I haven't been out since I got here. The dining area looks very nice, but so far, they've been serving me food in the room. The food is pretty good, too. The staff is excellent. They've been very goo…

CriticalMy father is a PT there, we are trying to get him home ASAP. The majority of the aids have minimal compassion if any. There are a few that are top notch. We the family talked with the administration about concerns and the last time [name removed] left to get the head administrator and never returned. I texted here and received no response back... This place may have been good at some point but it is not a safe play now! I am a Nurse and Nursing Supervisor at a local hospital, the care and lack of concern for the A…

CriticalWe recently had a visit with my Uncle, who sadly will not be with us much longer and was repulsed by the lack of compassion from the aides. He was calling out for a drink, at the nurses station two aides had their faces buried in their cell phones. When I had asked for a juice for him, one particular aide complained "he pushes the button for a drink too much so we ignore it, he's gonna have to wait". We left for a bit & upon returning found his door completely closed ! He is a fall risk ! He was slumped on a plast…

CriticalThis facility should be closed. The aides were mean and hateful. They did not tell the truth and refused to clean my friend. While she was very weak, she wanted to go to the bathroom and instead they put a diaper on her and told her to go in a diaper. As a result, my friend developed severe skin breakdown in only three days. Shameful behavior for healthcare workers. My friend needed assistance with eating, but the aid simply put the tray on her Bedside table and left. As a result, we brought food to her so she coul…

CriticalThe horrible odor of the memory care unit hits you as soon as you walk through the door. The bathroom was filthy and disgusting with dried feces on the grab bar! The blinds in the room were broken and could not be opened, so he could not even see outside. There were patients screaming in the hallway throughout the day and no effort was made to calm them or to tend to them. My father was attacked one morning by a man who wandered into his room and pounded on the back of his hand, leaving 3 jagged tears in his skin…

CriticalMy cousin was at Willow Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. That center gave her two bedsores. I would recommend others not to go there, and pick another facility because it was terrible. It was a bad place. She was not treated properly at all. When we tried to call and talk to her, we could not do that. They are just neglectful. The facility was dirty and neglected. I wouldn't say anything nice about them. The staff members were bad, neglectful, and lazy. The rooms were dirty, and the food was horri…
