My sister is in Willows Landing Senior Living. The first couple of years, the directors and the people there were fantastic. They have a new director, and every time I turn around, they're raising her rent. I just got another notice that they're raising her to $15,000 a month. They said it's because she needs more care. They've got people checking on her more often. I can understand that, but not $15,000. If they do extras, that also gets added on. They're always calling me to say that she …

We visited Willows Landing Senior Living in Monticello and saw their independent living community. We are most interested in it because it's very close to my son. We're also impressed with the place, and everything looks nice. We talked with the marketing director. She was very gracious, answered our questions, and showed us a lot of places. I have moved into Willows Landing Senior Living. It is such a friendly place. It's nice and clean. It's four years old. The people living here are very nice, and the food is great. Everybody is so nice and polite. Anytime you have a question, they answer you and take care of you. I would highly recommend them. They offer a diverse selection of food. Positivepleasant and welcoming
Mom progressed from independent living to assisted living in a 1 br apartment. Then moved to memory care in a good sized bed-sit, no kitchen..and then hospice care in the same place. She passed away in August. There were bumps in the road along the way, all related to her declining health. Overall I'd say that they did a wonderful job. Our only regret was that we didn't make these changes for her sooner. She would have been able to take part in more of the offered activities and make more friends.
