PositiveOverall I would recommend
It's an older place but mom really enjoys the first floor which gives her an outside patio and she can keep her dog. Staff are all very sweet and caring. Lots of activities which she loves. I think her apt is a good size for just her since she has memory issues and gets lost easily. Residents all seem very happy. A mix of Independent and asst living but mostly independent and most residents look happy.

Woodland Heights is a great facility for your loved one. Everyone is treated as if they were family. Finding a safe place for a loved one at the time of need is such a necessity. You won't regret this facility! The DON is fabulous!!

PositiveFriendly, caring staff!
The staff could not have been better, they even came and picked him up and [name removed]. Picked up his cloths. They have wonderful staff. Room was good. I went up yesterday to try to find his and they gave me back almost a carton of cigarettes, didn't get razor back. They could not find. I recommend highly. They made a point to tell me they were there if I needed again. His children just want him at home.

The food is great. I feel like they are understaffed for level 2 care. The staff is good overall, but it can be hard to find someone to communicate issues to. The DON is good about addressing everything. The room size is good. The activities schedule looks great, but residents are not always able to attend because staff cannot always take them down. It seems to be geared more toward independent living. Cleaning in the rooms is only weekly, and I think they should at least check more often to see if things need to…
