It's all about the staff. Highly recommended.

The day-to-day care teams are outstanding. Well trained, very personable and friendly. Administrative staff is excellent and easy to work with. Sometimes it takes a while to get answers to non urgent questions, but that's just a minor annoyance. They were great to work with during the move-in process. Housekeeping staff is thurough, efficient and friendly. Numerous activities are available everyday. Downtown location makes outings to various entertainment venues faster and easier.

My Favorite Facility, after an exhaustive search of the Western suburbs.

The staff is terrific, the food is very good, and the building and units are the best I've seen. I would recommend the community to others!

Review for Abiitan Mill City

After touring multiple facilities over two and a half years, I finally discovered Abiitan in downtown Minneapolis. Although it was built roughly eight years ago, it looks and feels brand new. The shared areas are spotless, the units are large and filled with natural light. My mother turned down at least a dozen other places we explored before she fell in love with Abiitan. The staff has exceeded expectations in every way. Their patience and their friendliness was the only way we could have successfully made this mo…

Grateful

Abiitan is an amazing community. My dad has a complexity of clinical needs, and the staff at Abbott has relentlessly coordinated with me to best serve him. Also, great location! For anyone who's looking to continue to engage with big city life and culture, in their golden years.

I visited this facility

I chose Abiitan Mill City because of the neighborhood. My very first apartment in Minneapolis was right there. I raised my daughter there. Our favorite restaurant for our family is there. We have many friends there. They're welcoming to cats. There's a whole floor where a kitty can play and be on leash with others. It's easy for my friends to get to. It is not spacious. These apartments are dinky. The staff was very welcoming. They showed the library, the gym, the auditorium, the restaurants, several…
