My mother was admitted to Accura "Skilled Nursing" facility a few days ago for care while she recovered from a serious health issue. While at this facility, she was ABUSED and NEGLECTED for 4 days. They gave her NO CARE WHATSOEVER! They just left her in bed for 4 days! She had a bed sore that required wound care and they did not clean it or change the dressing the entire time that she was there! They did not feed her and they would not allow me to see her (they said that was due to Covid). They severely o…

My friend is a cantankerous person and hard to deal with, but Accura HealthCare seems to be handling her OK. They keep a good eye on her. They have rehab for her for a couple of weeks and different machines she can work on. They play bingo and typical nursing home activities, too. The staff members seem very good. They have lots of staff members. My friend is in a small room. She seems to eat OK, so the food is probably good.
