PositiveI've made friends and it's home now
I enjoy all the fun activities like exercise class everyday, parties every month and we have our own bus that takes us around the community. My meals are so delicious. I even have a special diet that the Addison helps me follow. My daughter gets to visit me with her dog also and I love that.

I visit the Addison every Thursday to volunteer and spend time with the residents. The staff is no short of amazing and genuinely care for each resident knowing each individual quirk. The place is always spotless and welcoming right as you walk through the door. I would highly recommend!

Care responsiveness is way better than prior facility, food is just ok some meals better than others, they don't nickel and dime, BUT make sure to read the contract before you sign anything so you know what you are financially responsible for should the resident have to be hospitalized/rehab for an extended period of time. I took the word of the director that care costs stop being charged when patient is out of facility, but that only applies if they are out of the facility for greater than 15 days.

My mother has been a resident of the Addison of Sandy Springs for 3 1/2 years. We were impressed from the beginning with the wide halls, large room, tall ceilings and abundance of light throughout the facility. After moving her in, my mom has experienced that most amazing team of caregivers, med techs, memory care director, actitives coordinator and executive team. My mom is always treated with kindness and love. This community has turned into a second family for us. We appreciate all the activities, music, family …
