Alta Vista

We had a very nice tour with Alta Vista and were very impressed with the facility, but they did not have any assisted living apartments available and that is what we were looking for.

I'm happy to be in this community.

Very nice place, but expensive

Alta Vista is a very very nice place! The facility itself is gorgeous, and they are like a high end resort with all of the various amenities they provide! I was very impressed with them throughout my loved ones stay. Unfortunately they are also an expensive community, and we ended up needing to move for financial reasons.

This was one of the places we toured when we were looking into options. The main reason we didn't choose them is just that the rooms were a lot smaller there than another place we were considering.

This was just a little too on the hoity toity side. The family member I was looking for really loves nature and this just didn't really have a lot of that. It wasn't right for us.

I think she's in good hands. I've talked to her once or twice since she's moved in there and I have a favorable impression of them but I don't have a lot of specifics. Generally the staff was very helpful; there was one person who was a little bit pushy. She told me she is very happy there and I know she was very happy with the assistance she got when she was moving in. That was very helpful for me as well.
